I really like the idea of a central laptop. For people who do not
have a need to use their own computer I think it is a reasonable
request to have all slides available to be used on a central laptop.
I am sure some people would still have special needs that would make
them think they need their own computer. But this still leaves us in
need of a solution that would provide a smooth transition between the
talks with special needs.
