I've been using Class::DBI for my own projects, but not in a
"enterprise" environment yet. I love it.

I've been following its email list for a while, and I can tell you that
a number of Perl heavy-weights, such as Perrin Harkins and Tim Bunce are
involved and active with the Class::DBI user community.
