[SP-pm] Onde Larry Wall trabalhava?

Caso alguém tenha ficado com alguma pulga atrás da orelha achando q,
com tanta confusão e mistura de informações, mesmo um livro ou
reportagem pode estar alterada ou completamente errada (e isso
acontece com mais frequência do que gostaríamos de acreditar), aqui
vão outras fontes - sempre uma boa prática. Espero que elas possam
corroborar com as informações já compartilhadas por aqui,
especialmente considerando que vem da documentação oficial e do
próprio criador:

Mas, claro, isso também gera dúvidas. Então, da boca do próprio Larry
Wall, no seu tradicional "State of the Onion" (edição 9):

"You might say that Perl grew out of the Cold War. I've often told the
story about how Perl was invented at a secret lab that was working on
a secret NSA project, so I won't repeat that here, since it's no
secret."

Então não, ele não trabalhava *na* NSA. Mas, sim, ele estava
trabalhando *para* a NSA.

Essa versão 0 original (a "não pergunte") foi generalizada, corrigida,
adaptada, atualizada, e lançada ao mundo como 1.0 no dia 18 de
dezembro de 1987. Na ocasião do lançamento público, ele estava
trabalhando no JPL da NASA (o email de retorno dele pelo menos era de
lá =).
