Location: Scripps Ranch
Salary $85K - $100K





Primary Responsibilities:



*Software Application Development to support our eCommerce platform *Perl, 
ModPerl, PHP, JAVA





*Considerable knowledge of UNIX

*Understanding of Web Standards (HTML, XHTML, CSS, XML, XSL, JavaScript, 
Web Services).






*Install, configure, monitor, and maintain UNIX systems on dedicated 
hardware, as well as cloud computing (Amazon EC2 preferred).

*Install and maintain hardware.

*Configure and maintain DNS for client based web applications and internal 
networks

*Configure and maintain firewalls.

*Assist in the care and feeding of our eCommerce platform application, 
which utilizes Apache, PostgreSQL, and ModPerl.

*Work with Senior and Peer Network/System Administrators.

*Windows desktop/server management.

*PCI vulnerability assessment and compliance.

*Email Spam Protection and IMAP support


Environment & Technologies Used:

*PostgreSQL

*UNIX - FreeBSD

*Perl, ModPerl, PHP, JAVA

*Amazon EC2

*VMWare

*NAT

*SAN/NAS

*Cisco


Required Skills

*BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and 
experience.

*Considerable knowledge of UNIX

*Understanding of Web Standards (HTML, XHTML, CSS, XML, XSL, JavaScript, 
Web Services).

*Perl application development.

* Experience with supporting virtualization environments, including VMware 
prefered
