Great meeting on Monday. I think we peaked at 13 people. If this keeps
up, we're going to quickly outgrow Panera Bread.
Because of the size of the meeting, I don't have much in the way of
minutes. It was fairly disorganized (even for us!) and we ended up
breaking into a couple different groups to discuss various things, some
Perl, some not Perl (we had a Python coder in our midst!).
I'll relate what I can recall of the meeting. Other attendees should
feel free, should feel encouraged, to add to this.
- A couple of us helped George (did I get your name right, George?) with
a little Perl hacking he was doing; carried over from the KPLUG list.
- Brian kicked the tires on Gtk2-Perl for Windows.

- In my little sub-group, there was much discussion of all things Open
Source.
Christel, who I mentioned in the journal post Bob provided above, wants
me to give a lightning talk and host a BOF at the FOSSCON convention
she's organizing. Obviously, I have a strong bias towards Perl for both
of these. At OSCON, the Portland Perl Mongers had a special meeting at
the convention center. I think it'd be great to do something similar at
FOSSCON. If anyone has any suggestions, I'm listening.
