Thank you, Chris.  I did this and it worked perfectly.

I had been wondering, since this conference is right in our backyard and looks interesting.  But to buy into all the kinds of useful info and essential support one absolutely must have to use Perl, Unix, Adobe, Oracle, ad infinitum, certainly would exceed my gross income.  So I buy some books, read a few newsletters, and experiment when provoked by some "interesting opportunity" ...
