Script ends at 'printf'

[Ken Loomis]

I am using a Perl script to print an HTML page that displays an order
summary.

It was working fine then suddenly started only generating part of the
page.

I've been able to determine that it stops sending the HTML wherever I
insert the following statement:

    printf("\$%4.2f",$price);

I am baffled.

Any ideas?

Thanks for any suggestions anyone may have.
