Kelley's message to the Purdue High-Performance Computing community
would also be useful to the Purdue Perl community, I think.

I don't want this list used commercially, of course, but I think this
might be useful to many of our subscribers.
O'Reilly Books (pretty much the go-to publisher for Linux reference
works) is offering massively discounted electronic versions of a very
useful bundle of their manuals; different individual books in the bundle
are geared to different levels of experience, from beginner through
intermediate-advanced sysadmin or network engineer.
The offer expires about a week from now, if I'm interpreting their
website correctly.
