[Purdue-pm] Next PM meeting in a week

    We have an 'out-of-band' (i.e., not the usual 3rd Tuesday) PM 
meeting next week on Oct. 13th during the usual noon hour.  Please sign 
up for talks as you can give them.    I won't be able to attend however 
I hope that the rest of you can.

    Last month, despite the lack of long talks and in spite of the 
bemoaning of some people before the meeting, we had a very delightful 
time.  Perhaps because of the lack of pressure of having to race through 
longer talks we took our time analyzing code in detail.  For my talk -- 
originally scheduled for 5 minutes -- we spent a fruitful 20-25 minutes 
looking through the code discussing the pros and cons of it.
