[Pdx-pm] OT: Escaping Comcast?

I've been using Comcast cable for the year or so I've been here, but
their support is terrible and I don't like supporting a company that
obviously doesn't care about their customers much.  Are there any other
decent options in inner (NE) Portland?  DSL always seems to be more
expensive for less bandwidth, and often with extra fees on top of that.

FIOS is only out around Beaverton, right?
