[mplspm]: Problem with dynamic linking XS -- static Perl binary??

Well, I can't find any trace of the routines that the linker is complaining
about, so rather than continue banging my head against the wall and risk
leaving a nasty stain on the sheet rock, I've decided to just create a bogus
stub.sl shared library that defines those entry points, satisfying those
unresolved dependencies.

Tried it out, and it even works!  Now I just gotta figure out how to make
this fit into Makefile.PL.
