(bloody Smelstra adsl is down /again/ so i can't check what the above

we will pop over to sahara at some stage during the evening for
bagels/beer/coffee, and to meet some guys from the NetSavvy Band Project
(any music/perl hackers on melbourne.pm?).

when...? Anytime from midday onwards.

Nerdlabs is not open to the "public" and you will need to identify
yourself as being a melbourne perl monger (maybe by quoting a perl
one-liner ;) to get in.
