Responsibilities:
Collaborate on and contribute to a growing codebase of Search
Marketing products and tools that serve to manage millions of dollars
in revenue per month
Come up with bleeding-edge solutions in a highly competitive and
ever-evolving SEM landscape
Define software architecture for the next generation of highly
automated applications
Have a "can-do" attitude and work closely with other bright engineers
as well as a team of highly-motivated analysts and statisticians
Required skills:

MySQL or other relevant RDBMS experience, preferably with exposure to
optimizing queries for large-scale data sets
Fluency in Linux or other *nix flavor (Visual programming? Not here!)
Ability to work collaboratively in a shared code environment
Experience developing SEM products on the client-facing side (i.e.
major online retailer, agency, CSE, etc.); experience in the financial
sector specific to yield-based optimization is also great
Application development fundamentals, including but not limited to
object-oriented programming, test-driven development and automation
Nice-to-haves:
B.S. (or M.S.) in Computer Science
Previous development of automated bidding systems
Familiarity with working in an Agile/Scrum project management environment
Frontend development using PHP in a LAMP paradigm
User interface design for interactive web-based applications
