Os reenvío un mensaje de Matt Trout que me llegó ayer.
Le he comentado que mi nivel de catalán no es suficiente para
ofrecer un trabajo de calidad, pero que varios miembros de la lista
están cualificados para hacerlo.

Os comento también que últimamente estoy trabajando en una
técnica para inyectar terminología en traducción automática, con
el objetivo de mejorar los resultados. Si alguien se anima a "post-editar"
una traducción automática, podríamos hacer un experimento.

Estoy pendiente de que Matt me envíe más datos, pero si a alguien
le interesa el trabajo, que me lo diga. No es obligatorio participar
en mi experimento:-) También podéis poneros en contacto con Matt
directamente .

So, the .cat registry let us have shadow.cat but we're loath to use it until
we meet the "promoting the catalan language" requirement (the existence of
kitty.cat suggests nobody minds much but, well, that's not the point :).

I was thinking about getting a couple of introductory perl articles of some
sort - either very basic or something like Randal Schwartz' Moose columns
- translated into Catalan.

Diego Kuperman suggested I contact you as having appropriate clue and being
a nice person, and told me to say it's his fault I'm bugging you.

Anyway, would you be interested in undertaking such a translation either as
a sponsored thing with the results released CC-whatever to the community or
as a pure commercial transaction? Either's fine by us in theory though I'd
have to show our finance guy how much it'll cost before I can tell you
whether it's fine in practice :)
