APM: Data::Dumper and FreeBSD

Has anyone here ever successfully built Data::Dumper on FreeBSD?

I have a client trying to move an app I wrote to FreeBSD.  I've been
completely useless helping them.

If you just know how to use the ports system on FreeBSD I'd really
appreciate a little help.
