first off thanks Grant for the many years of work you have put into this
group, really appreciate it, I know how much work it is to get meetups
off the ground and then to keep them alive but you certainly have set a
gold standard here, thanks for that.

I have moved to Nelson and my days in welli normally don't coincide with
the meetups, also, not doing much perl these days, might be a theme for
quite a few of us, either moved location, moved to other languages or
both.

The group is still pretty large and there are really good devs in here,
maybe a possible angle would be to have the focus on "Perl and other
cryptic things" which would open up the meetup to talk about elixir,
rust, lfe and mix it up with a cool perl talk every now and then.

Unfortunately I can't make the next meeting but may be able to plan my
next Welli days to give a short presentation about the strange stuff I
do nowadays (elixir and reactjs mainly)
