[tpm] Spreadsheet::WriteExcel and Spreadsheet::ParseExcel

I am getting folowing error:
Input/output error at readConfig.pl line 32.

The code is as follow:
unless(defined($wb = $parser->Parse("/Server1/sambaFolder/test.xls"))){
    die "$!";
}

Can someone please help me?
