To form a chapter, 3 meetings with 10 or more registered
ISSA members in attendance at each are required. This meeting will
represent the 3rd such meeting, and hopefully signal the kick off of a
great new group in Tallahassee. I was able to attend the 2nd meeting,
and while it was primarily just held for the purpose of forming the
chapter, it turned into a great security sharing and discussion meeting.
Non members are welcome at either of the above mentioned meetings. Feel
free to email me if you need more information.
I've also been pitching safari (http://safari.oreilly.com) at both
meetings, and was able to generate some interest at both meetings in
getting people involved in a 5 user corporate. Steven Alexander gave a
demo of Safari in action, at the ISSA meeting, and people were
impressed, so I'm hoping to have 5 firm commitments soon.
I'm still waiting to hear if TPM is having a meeting in January.
