Hi Rebekah,

I see our esteemed (though dubious?) leader has replied. I'm in management,
now, though I'm working on a Perl program in my spare time. What I've found
is that it's very easy to pick up just enough to be dangerous; however, it
is a lot easier with a group of O'Reilly books around. I don't have a lot of
experience with Perl, and none when it comes to the web stuff that you'll be
working with. Good luck and welcome to the group.

I'm new to perl.  I've been working a lot in php, and since I don't know 
perl and have been assigned to add functionality to an existing perl-driven 
site, I've been making them talk to each other.  Gruesome at best.  So I'm 
starting to learn perl in the way I usually learn things... have 
opportunity, must learn.  :o)

So, who else is here?
