You might also look at CGI::Application. There is quite a bit of activity
& new development and an active mailing list at cgiapp at lists.erlbaum.net.
I've used it for some simple stuff and like it very much. It's combined
with HTML::Template, and can use CGI::Session and also has Session builtin
(CGI::Application::Session, I believe). It's on CPAN.
