Mike,
We certainly are small.
But when we started in late October, there was just me.
We've grown a lot since then,
and even since the first meeting.

In response to your second paragraph:
It's my wish and intention for us together to create
a place where we can together:
    * learn more Perl
    * have fun
    * engage in Perl Quests
As to my background, etc., for the short version
see my "profile" under Participant Profiles on our website.
For the long version, see my personal website.
There's a link to it in my "profile".
Any other responses to this paragraph?

It is fun to be in at the beginning of Oakland.pm.
Like you, I wish and intend that
"we can all benefit from each others experiences and knowledge".
We'll create that.

Best wishes,
George
