G'day!

Just wanting to share the joy I'm feeling right now, as I've just heard
from Central Queensland University that my application to do honours was
accepted.

For non commonwealth folk, honours is postgraduate work that contributes
to part of your undergraduate degree. In the case of my university, you
must apply seperately through the postgraduate admissions office.
Applications are accepted based upon a high academic record, choice of
project and availability and agreement of a supervisor. (My project is
on software development using Open Source systems and technologies vs
proprietary systems.)

Very, very thrilled right now. :)
