I believe Leif also implemented the bars notation :-) I agree though, it was a lot of fun, and a simple bit of hardware seemed to cause far more interest than pretty HTML pages :-) (although a number of people expressed surprised about the scope/versatility of perl, e.g. from hardware to pretty pages) N
