[LA.pm] Updating LA.pm's site

Up here at TO.pm we host the site on our own servers. It is much easier.
When we requested to have requests for http://thousand-oaks.pm.org/ to redirect to http://thousand-oaks-perl.org/ we had a near immediate response at the time (perhaps we caught the volunteer on a good day).
Let me know if you need a spot to drop the site... I've been hosting family/projects/mongers/clients/etc sites on my servers for the past 8 years and I'm not stopping anytime soon.

I'm in the process of getting access to the site to update it.
I put in a request, it made it to the RT queue, some additional people
needed to be contacted, they have now been contacted. So now we're
waiting on volunteer labor to update the RT queue at perl.org / pm.org.
The previous maintainer never gained access to the site, which is why it
wasn't updated last fall. The previous-previous maintainer has left
town, but he has given his blessing for the transfer of control.
I don't really have a time estimate. My most recent status update was
received a week or two ago.
In that vein, if anyone wants to make some spiffy code to run the site,
let me know. As it is currently hosted, we only get flat-text files.
It is possible to point the domain elsewhere if we want active content.
