I will be out of town the next 2-1/2 weeks on family business (ostensibly
on vacation) and will then be traveling in Nov for real business so I will
almost certainly miss anything for the next two months.

I like the idea of using the FSLC as a focal point since I think it will be
easier to co-ordinate perl interests with individuals who participate
w/that group.
