I really don't understand this fixation you have about Jax.PM needing to
be somehow geographically connected to Jax.  :)

By way of introduction, I'm a PhD student in information science at
Drexel U in Philly.  That pretty much sucks up all of my time.  And then
some.  I use perl for my work when possible.  I grew up in Jax, but
haven't lived there since 1997.  I don't check this email address as
often as I should, which is why it took two weeks for me to respond.  My
hobbies include publicly harassing the Jax.PM moderator (hi, Sneex!) and
buying Powerball tickets that won't match enough numbers to even cover
my investment.
