Well, the snow on the ground tells me that summer is definitely 
over and it is time to have another Upstate New York Systems 
Administrators Guild meeting. The two topics I have in mind 
are a brief discussion of formalizing our relationship with the 
SAGE/USENIX organization and the main event being a preview of 
a talk (Oracle Tricks and Techniques in Systems Administration) 
that will be presented at SANS 2000 (Systems Administration and 
Network Security) in Orlando in March.

able to get a trip report on the latest LISA conference from 
Andy Mondore and other folks who attended.
