[pm-h] August Houston.pm Technical meeting: Introduction to ASN.1 BER Encoding with Christopher Mevissen

Our next regularly scheduled technical meeting is August 14 at 7pm. We
will be meeting at the Hostgator offices at 5005 Mitchelldale location.

Christopher Mevissen will give an introduction to BER encoding and show
a decoder written in Perl. This will explore how Perl works with binary
formats and show an actual use case by decoding an X509 certificate. If
you've wondered how to twiddle bits in Perl, this is probably the talk
for you.
