A friend from NCLUG was raving/ranting about Ruby last night.
The only thing he could come up with which was neat was the
way it handles iterators. After much back-and-forth from the
local Python guru (jafo) and the local Perl guru (tkil) it was
decided that Ruby implemented 'map'.

I've briefly looked at it, but couldn't see much improvement
over Python.
