You can do that? Easily? Reliably? Cross platform? Server or client
side? I'd be intressed to read about it anyway. My two languages of choice...

>> * Perl and XML

I really need some cool books on the topic (though I'll probably just print
out the online documentation on the new printer.) I actually had a look at
the Micro$oft Press one on XML and was quite impressed and would have bought
it if a) it wansn't another 25 ukp on computing books (from amazon, much 2x
the price from the local bookstore) b) I have a whole load of books to read
here already on computing and c) It wasn't published by you-know-who and
showed excessive bias to a certain web browser.

'Computer Engineering'. A modern textbook that covers briefly all the
topics and skills that computer employers actually want (not what they teach
in universities) and contains a detailed list of other references and 'must
read' books and documents. Example topics off the top of my head : Java,
C++, Perl, NT Admin, Managing Linux Servers, The Web, Internet protocols,
etc. Each section is frank and honenst about the languages, servers,
whatever and has the limitiations and advantages of each.

>Oh, and we're having another meeting on Wed... Leon

Oh yeah. I'll come to this one. Unless the train crashes.

Later.

Mark.
