This year we are happy to welcome the inventor of Perl - Larry Wall - to a Perl 6 Hackathon at Fl?rli Olten from Thursday, August 27. to Saturday, August 29. In parallel there will be the 3rd Swiss Perl Workshop at the very same place, running from Friday to Saturday.

In case you are interested in either meeting Larry Wall and other key developers personally or learning something about Perl 6 or hear interesting talks about other topics around Perl this is the place to go in Switzerland this year.

Our speakers offer plenty of Perl 5 and Perl 6 talks (Friday and Saturday) and on Saturday there is a full day workshop to start or improve you Perl 6 skills.

We already confirmed a number of interesting talks and there are a few more prominent speakers like
