    i was helping dan with the arrival dinner but i got stuck with work

    and writing up my talk.<br>

    dan suggested the rivers casino buffet which is what i recommend

    now. i am working on getting a large section for us. it is only 2

    stops on the free subway to get there from the hotel. the buffet is

    about $22 plus tax and tip. <br>

    is there a better way to announce this? the yapc mailing list has

    been mostly silent this year. the wiki is on github and not on the

    old registration system so i don't know if people will use it.<br>

    i suggest meeting in the lobby of the hotel at 6:30 and migrating

    over to the casino. they don't need a reservation but i will work on

    a separated section if possible.<br>
