Was this ever resolved?  I don't see the Bad Movie BOF listed on the 
wiki yet.  This has become a bit of a tradition ... I'm pretty sure I've 
attended as many Bad Movie nights as I have YAPCs. :-)  I would be 
really disappointed not to have one this year.

I love the ramblings on this list, some informative, some entertaining.

Maybe provide an opt-in option for the mailing list when people register? I
have coworkers who missed the various announcements on this list because
they did not know of its existence, which is a shame.

For example one coworker looked for arrival dinner info on the wiki when he
registered and there was none at the time. He probably would have missed it
completely had I not received Uri's announcement and asked my coworker if
he was going to sign up for it.

Yeah, behind on my email. Did talk to Dan in IRC, and hopefully things
will work out. For Bad Movie Night, anyway. It doesn't look to me as
though we can get a room for two movie nights, and I'm not breaking the
bad movie tradition. :-)

hi all,

we just got the 50th person to signup for the arrival dinner at charlie 
chow's for the dragon grill. check the page to make sure you are on it 
and if you can't make it, edit out your entry. please be sure to BRING 
CASH as we will have one tab for the group. the base price will be 
$15.09 for the grill, tax and tip (all you can eat). drinks are extra so 
budget that in when you pay. i will be collecting the cash afterwards 
for the bill. i just called and they have reserved 50 places for us.

there is also the anti-arrival dinner which is smaller and veggie/vegan 
oriented (though charlie chow's can do veggie too). or you can organize 
your own dinner with plenty of choices in the area and the hotel has a 
nice looking steak house and also a coffee shop with a large menu.

Yes. It was a power issue with a switch in the data center. The server is on a different switch and I do not expect further issues.

I have to echo this.  This was the nicest YAPC I've been to yet in terms 
of facilities: ample outlets, ample bandwidth (I never had to use my 
phone as a hot-spot once), gorgeous bathrooms, good food, etc.  (To be 
fair, this is only my fourth YAPC.  Still, it was very much appreciated.)

+1.  I help organize a much smaller conference so I have a ton of respect
for those who put this together - everything seemed to go very smoothly
from this first-time attendee's view, and the value for the money is
outstanding.  The speakers I saw were also outstanding.  There clearly was
a lot of work put into this by people who are very dedicated.
