I find that an empty room is far colder then a populated room.  When I speak or teach, I usually avoid the temptation to raise the room temperature because by the time everyone gathers, the room will be several degrees warmer.



I use 100 watts per person. 15 people = 1 american space heater regular outlet set to high.
