Message-ID: <1444364171.2341.5.camel@kereru> Hi Mongers The next meeting of Wellington Perl Mongers is scheduled for Tuesday - October 13th. So that means if you want to do a talk you've got all weekend to prepare :-) Alternatively, feel free to suggest a topic - anyone can do that, not just Florent. I liked the introductory bit where he observed that the Structured Programming debate is long since over and nobody seriously argues for GOTO over the loop/function/etc syntax that pretty much all languages now provide. In a similar vein, people are now starting to expect that languages provide built in support for parallelism etc. And of course newer ones do. Cheers Grant
