I never even said thanks to Olly ...

Hi Grant & everyone,
I am preparing a talk for later this year but unfortunately I don't have
anything ready for next week.

I could be interested in learning about error catching in Perl. I have seen
the Try::Tiny slides in the archives of the Welly PM and I recall you
mentioning 'catching errors in Perl is still way to difficult' and I was
wondering if anyone could be interested in sharing their experience in Perl
error catching best practice in April 2014 (ie maybe some recent packages
are doing a fine job on recent Perl interpreters).

In my projects we don't do a very neat job with error handling, simply
catching sig die/warn and throwing  the message into the database.

... otherwise, I am still eagerly awaiting the Peek inside Perl's internal
(part 2) ... :-)

Anyway, just a few suggestions.

I'll be around on Tuesday (8th right?) - I don't have anything Perl-ish,
but if you are scratching around for stuff then I could do 10 minutes on R
and what the state is of visualisation libraries are ?  I guess it wouldn't
be called 'Perl Mongers' then ...

The native resolution for the projector in that space is 1400x1050.
The colour is a bit washed out but it's as good as we've got.

Thank you both to Piers and Grant for the talks.

I found both talks particularly interesting ... maybe because I suggested
one of them so why not continue.
If I may make an other suggestion, a re-introduction to Moose (the first
intro was in 2008 ...) would be of interest to me. We have talked about
bits and pieces in the last year but I would be quite keen to know more
from people who have used Moose successfully and not successfully.

Otherwise, I would be up for some code reading.
