I always use Debian packages (actually Ubuntu packages) where I can, but I'm looking at installing something from CPAN. Does CPAN play with Perl Debian packages in a friendly way? Or will I hit issues when applying patches? Will CPAN force updates to existing Debian packages thereby confusing the Debian package manager? Cheers, Cliff
