The MIME::Lite module makes it dead easy to send email - with or without attachments: http://search.cpan.org/dist/MIME-Lite/lib/MIME/Lite.pm There are lots of examples in the documentation but it sounds like your needs are pretty simple. The speakers' slides are up on the web site now: http://wellington.pm.org/archive/index.html The next meeting will be on May 13th. I'd be very keen to hear from anyone volunteering to do a talk at that meeting (hello Martyn). Suggesting topics is also allowed (although it doesn't appear we have and localisation experts to handle Francois' request). Cheers Grant PS: The script font that I used in a couple of my slides was called 'Purisa' and it's packaged for Debian/Ubuntu in a collection of Thai fonts: http://packages.debian.org/unstable/x11/ttf-thai-tlwg
