The October meeting of Wellington Perl Mongers is next this evening at
the usual place and time:

The theme this month is multi-threading/processing with four short talks
lined up:

 * Grant McLean - case study of a daemon using select()
 * Srdjan Jankovic - case study of using Perl threads
 * Evan Giles - Using Event.pm
 * Sam Vilain - Coro and STM

Srdjan may be unable to attend due to family commitments so if anyone
else wants to do an impromptu spot on "How Perl threads saved my life"
then you may get your chance.
