Given that Perl, just like C, make and m4, is indispensable in Linux world, continuous testing is a must that shouldn't be fulfilled by a group of amateurs, but by higher instances. Case in point, Perl Mongers. Big-endian SPARC, m68k and PowerPC; alternative C standard libraries and compilers: this needs to be addressed. I, for instance, want to run a smoker on Windows using a native port of Perl (not Strawberry, see https://perldoc.perl.org/perlwin32). Maybe you should consider it.
