Weil mir implizite Variablen prinzipiell unsympathisch sind. 

Weil es in früheren Perl-Versionen eine globale Variable war und man
dadurch ziemlich untracebare Bugs produzieren konnte.

Weil das zwar jetzt nicht mehr der Fall ist, aber andere $<seltames
Zeichen>-Variablen nach wie vor global sind und ich mir nicht merken
kann, welche das sind.

Zusammenfassend: Weil ich meinen Code auch noch nächste Woche verstehen
will.
