LinuxFest Northwest is going to be between 30 April - 1 May in Bellingham, Washington. http://linuxfestnorthwest.org/ As I can see they are still accepting talk proposals and you can still ask for a table to present Perl or your Perl Monger group. As I just wrote to another PM group a booth is basically just a fixed place in the hallway track to attract discussions in a specific topic. So it is the same thing you would do at any other event just you don't have to move around so much. If you are attending please let other Perl Mongers know as going in a group might be more fun. regards Gabor -- Gabor Szabo? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?? http://szabgab.com/ Perl Ecosystem Group ? ? ? http://perl-ecosystem.org/ From lukecloss at gmail.com Tue Mar 29 19:04:28 2011 From: lukecloss at gmail.com (Luke Closs) Date: Tue, 29 Mar 2011 19:04:28 -0700 Subject: [Van-pm] Perl night at VHS Message-ID: Hey gang, In #vhs we're talking Perl, and I suggested a Perl night for the VHS crew - kinda a state of the art and what's hawt (forgive me for just typing 'hawt'). Maybe this could be a regular standing thing once a month. We could do talks if we have speakers, talk about stuff, or just hack. WDYT? Getting to VHS is sketchy the first time (due to the alley entrance), but you're much more likely to have trouble with the bar stars on the way there than anything alley-ish. Otherwise VHS has wifi, tools, and we can drink there (BYOB or kegerator). Luke
