Anyone have any real feedback about this gathering? I know I'm going to make sure i'll bring my laptop and the various adapters I have for future meetings just in case. Anybody have any topics the want to present about for future meetings? Lots of names were dropped - starman, twiggy, corona, mod_perl, feersum ? Maybe we could have a few different people show some code from these different toolsets, and see how they compare. State of the art Perl web app deployment. Also, while i'm at it I'd like to hear from people about deploying redis, tokyo cabinet, memcachedb, ? + code Cheers, Luke 2010/9/19 Gavin : > So?October?is approaching, so its that time again. > Anyone have any thing they want to present? or would be interested in > hearing about? I've heard rumors that perl and python can now be installed on android. How about moose. I've heard people really like using it for maintainability, but i'm not sure why you need a large system over something like Class::Accessor (http://search.cpan.org/dist/Class-Accessor/) or other simular modules. Perl 6? Anyone want to bring up any cool things about perl 6?
