kobesearch est assez sympa, souvent plus pratique pour naviguer CPAN que
search.cpan.org.

Hello,
   Please forgive the direct email, but I'm writing
to see if there would be interest in your group in
the following. I'm running a CPAN search service at
  http://cpan.uwinnipeg.ca/htdocs/faqs/cpan-search.html
and am working on support for different languages
(identified by the language preference set in the browser).
At present this is limited to menu choices and some
common phrasing; author-supplied things like documentation
and module descriptions still appear in English. Even so,
I hope such language support would make browsing more
user friendly.
  I have done a preliminary translation to French
(using a web translation service), but I realize this
most likely contains errors and incorrect phrasing.
What I was wondering if there would be anyone in your
group interested in correcting this translation?
This can (I hope) be done relatively easily by grabbing
the sources for the search engine (CPAN-Search-Lite) at
  http://www.cpan.org/authors/id/R/RK/RKOBES/
and unpacking them; there's two areas where translations
are supplied:
  lib/CPAN/Search/Lite/Lang.pm
which contains some common terms identified by language
keys (eg, fr for French). The other area is under
  tt2/fr/
which contains some template-toolkit templates
used for rendering pages in French (here the
terms requiring translation appear as normal
text, as in an html page, outside of the
[% ... %] blocks).

Anyway, I would appreciate any help with this;
if not with the direct editing as above, then even
by supplying an edited html page with any corrections,
which I could then edit the source code by. Thanks
