Thanks so much for your talk. Many of us were already familiar with TAP,
but I know I still learned a few things from your presentation. And the
additional technical discussion was very interesting. It was good timing

Greetings Perlmongers,

Well, it's the end of the year, and that calls for a social event (as one
does in December). I'd like to suggest that we go to C'est What at Jarvis
and Front on Thursday December 20, arriving at perhaps 630pm so that we can
eat and drink lovely beverages. We can toast the Winter solstice and look
forward to longer days.

Thoughts?

Also, it looks like we have two talks lined up for January, so this means I
am looking for speakers for February. That's almost three months to get a
talk ready!

Hi All,

Ever have that moment a nanosecond after pressing Send that makes you think
.. "Wait .. did I .."

That was me a minute ago. The December Social will be December 20, less
than two weeks away, NOT December 27th, when folks will be making merry
with friends and family, or Netflixing and chilling.

We'll plan to be at C'Est What for supper, drinks and socializing. No
Google hangouts this month!

Hi TPM,

In advance of tonights social which I'll be attending, I just wanted to say
thank you.

I recently gave a talk at KubeCon NA. This is the largest venue I've given
a talk in. By... a lot. I was pretty nervous. By all accounts, it went
really well though with great questions and a great recepetion.

I would not have be able to do this without TPM. I gave my first tech talk
at TPM and gave many since. It gave me the practice I needed and the
confidence to pull this kind of thing off. So thanks to all who have spoken
and have attended talks I did at TPM. It gave me the tools to perform on a
bigger stage (and damn, it was a stage).

I encourage all who have not given talks to do so. It's an invaluable skill
and TPM is a great opportunity to do it.  You need not be an expert on
everything because your *experience* in doing something is what is
important.

Was not. Was literally shaking. I was absolutely cool as a cucumber until
30 minutes before. Previous speaker was not engaging and the room was dead
so I started worrying.
