I think at this point we should skip the November meeting.  The hastily organized ones are pretty sparsely attended anyway.  At this point we'd normally work out a time and place for a December social meetup.  I don't think I'll be down in December, so I'll leave those discussions to those who want to attend.  We just need one person to propose a date and a venue and we can take it from there.

My experience lately has been that someone basically has to chase people down for talks.  If nobody has the bandwidth to do that, then the roster stays empty.  It probably would be good to try to get another 6 months of talks on the books (Jan - May).  I think we've leaned pretty heavily on Dave for these past few years.  We really do need some combination of more speaker volunteers as well as folks bringing in speakers from outside of the core group.
