Hey Mongeren, 
   Just wondering who's had a good experience with Any other ISP's  for their residence.  On rogers now, and getting boned.  BELL was lousy customer service and slow speed where I live.
I don't have a land line, nor any cable TV services.

start.ca

is competetive.

They do suffer from the usual occasional 3AM-3:30AM outage (like Rogers
they share coax w/Rogers) which is in the middle of my nightshift.

I
I also heartily recommend start.ca.  I have their 50 Mbit FTTN service 
and regularly see ping speeds under 7 ms to servers in Toronto and 
download speeds between 5.5 and 5.9 MB/second.  They also care about 
their customers as evidenced by the president frequently responding in 
person in on-forums (such as dslreports.com) and by their fussiness 
about which equipment they rent from Bell in the Bell Central Offices.

In case you're not in the meetup group, here are the details for tonight's meeting at the OANDA offices:

Tonight's meeting is on schedule for 7pm. Due to building security requirements we need to keep the second floor door locked, but the elevators will be open between 6:30 and 7:30. So to get in, head up to the elevator by Starbucks, go to second floor, and knock on the door with the TPM sign on it. Someone will let you in.

First off, I just wanted to say that Matt and Justin did a really great job on their AngularJS talk.  It was also great to have Getty give his SyContent talk and to enjoy watching is Periodic Table shower curtains in the background.

Who is on for speaking in May?  Any volunteers?  I like the 2 talk format.  So, ideally if we had 2 talks of about 30-45 minutes in length, that would fill out the evening nicely.

I wasn't a huge fan of the karaoke at the pub.  Essentially it means that after 10 PM, you can no longer have a conversation.  :)  Also, thanks to Fulko for giving me a ride home.  His "F Hew" vanity plates make me wonder how he ever got that past the approval process at the ministry.

I think I've got a speaker on board who will talk about OrientDB (NoSQL
solution) and the XS bindings they wrote for Perl.  I know Matt is also
exploring getting someone else to do a pre-run of their YAPC talk.
