I'd say go for it. I know some of Herb Simon's work, but I don't know this book. 

While I'm on line, and since Mike already trailed that aspect of work, I could do a Lakoff/Johnson plus coding metaphor one, e.g., Metaphors We Code By

Would that be interesting?
