[tpm] December social meeting & Perl's 20th birthday

I plan to attend -- I just hope we have better attendance than last year,
when I think we had about eight sitting in a space for about two dozen. As
the evening progressed, we gradually gave up the empty tables to eager
patrons and an increasingly wound up manager.

C'mon out -- it's a birthday party!!!
