Barry Brevik - "Making Chomp Behave as it Should" The presentation will discuss how chomp behaves like a unary operator (much to the irritation of many programmers) rather than a function, and how this behavior can be 'fixed'. A short piece of code will be shared that demonstrates how the chomp functionality can be overridden, yet without breaking existing code. I hope to see you there! -Peter From pbowen at valueclick.com Tue Sep 10 16:27:16 2013 From: pbowen at valueclick.com (Peter Bowen) Date: Tue, 10 Sep 2013 23:27:16 +0000 Subject: [Thousand-Oaks-pm] Lunchtime Perl Mongers Tomorrow! I'm putting together the meetings for next month. Who has something to share? I'm looking for a lunch presentation and two evening presentations. I have been playing with writing excel files using perl, and financial simulation. I could talk about those topics if there is interest. Let me know what you want to share and I'll get the word out. -Peter -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL:
